Melat pulls his cloak closer to his face. Carrying a large amount of gold in a backpack, he makes his way to Lugard. Walking into the bar, he patiently waits for his contact.
A figure appears from the shadow.
"Have you got the payment?" A voice speaks.
Melat nods and reaches into his backpack to pull out a large sum.
The figure nods his head and collects the gold.
"You forgot one crown". Melat grins wryly and flicks a coin towards the figure. Catching it in mid air, the figure skillfully places it into his pocket.
They nod at each other, and leave.
Melat heads north and finds an enormous spider under some roots. He slays the spider, takes a key, and opens a chest.
"10 crowns..." Melat mutters in disdain. The spider is really holding out this time. "For the Stone I suppose."
