Who are/were the best roleplayers in your opinion?

Since we're moving away from a points based reward system for roleplay and instead an imm assigned status one for the best roleplayers, I am inviting you to contribute.

We're looking for input on who have historically been the best roleplayers, both in quality, doing it across alts and consistency over time. Not everyone has to have every box ticked.

A person who sticks to one character and roleplays them consistently for a long, long time could get recognition, although in mud years, we're sometimes talking in the decades here, not 'mere' years.
In the same vein, someone who has multiple characters who have unique qualities and who are kept strictly separate may also be worthy of recognition.
Or characters who have built a reputation across the 'Ages' through the sheer quality of roleplay.

Personally, I'm thinking of people who really have/ had an impact, but this list is far from exclusive. Just to say that RelativelyNewSedai of a few years is not what we have in mind at the moment:

We will probably only let one character per player have the roleplay perks, lest having perks could reveal people's alts, but it will be up to the player to decide which alt they want the perks on.

You listed some great names. Of ones you didn’t mention, Catisune is high on my list and she
makes me want to be a better role player. Other names that come to my mind include Gem, Gesin, Lara, Raeza, and Kathala. Relatively newer but no less worthy IMO include Chloro, Ashlynn, and Aelrena.

I’m sorry if all of the examples popping in my head are Aes Sedai, it’s the clan of RPers I have the most knowledge of. I know there are multiple Wisdoms who should be on the list but I didn’t know them as well. Maybe Racquel?

I'd second the player of Racquel, as I learned a lot from them and was always very impressed with their roleplay abilities.

Other very strong wisdom RPers certainly include Thena, Raya, and Aine.
