Forum based roleplay competition - winner announced!

For 1 week, starting at the time of this post, I will be running a forum based roleplay competition. This particular competition is aimed at roleplayers and writers, the next one will be for another type of player.

What is it about? The best WoT/WoTmud adaptation of a song, or WoT/WoTmud poem. If you're doing a song adaptation, please post which song and by which artist!

We've seen a few examples of these in the past, so this should be good.

Prizes are:

For non-clanned and non-masters: one real life month of masterflag, including postures, damage and mob lead should you be in a clan that has leadable mobs.
For masters: a prac reset plus getting 99% pracs in a praccable skill of your choice, which will last until you get your next prac reset. This will essentially mean you get x amount of free pracs to spend on other things.

First, I'd like to say that the entries were awesome. Rig's worm hate made me chuckle, Firimei's Haiku's were fun and since I'm completely a-musical Adirne's guitar chords had me stumped, so just sang hers to my own tune. Off key, like wow.

However! Cerys, Cynthiel and I stuck our heads together and we came up with a list of favorites. Here goes!

The winner is Petra! I don't think any of us can hear "Ice Ice Baby" without thinking "Ice Spikes Baby" instead.

Second place is for Tamira. Her rendition of "Wake me up before you go-go" had some solid Tamira-truths to it. No ego, we loved it.

The third place is a tie between Kordin and Lyren. Both represented ingame stuff very well in their versions.

Congratulations, all winners! And thanks to everyone who participated, you provided quite a bit of entertainment. Even DS liked your entries, or so I heard them say yesterday.

Since the entries were of such high quality, I've decided to award 10 qps for the 2nd place, and 5 qps for the 3rd places. And... we're working on putting parts of these songs on mobs for a time, so stay tuned.
