Is there a cap to damage caused by a bloody frag?

Just wondering if a bloody frag damage in melee is calculated by the relevant damage dices, or is there a hard cap to it (eg, 30hps?)

Fairly sure the answer is there's no cap. I remember one time after the pair of sai were imped that I was trying to stab tall thief who had them... the damage wasn't right, and even with wvd I was taking 200+ damage each hit.

That's the most extreme example I can think of.

Doesn't any 50+ hit give you the OUCH message?

The OUCH message is based on a % of your health I believe. Just not sure what the % is. Might be something like if its more than 30% of your max health then you get the ouch message.

Thought ouch! is more based on % of current HPs, as you see them a lot when you are about to die? Maybe there is two different messages though...

Ouch! is anything over 1/5 of your max HP.
