Wheel of Time MUD

I had Windows 8, then 10 and had an issue, so I complete reinstalled to Windows 8.

Now I can't go past the regserver on either Zmud Or Cmud [tried different versions of Cmud].
It locks/freezes the whole laptop, I really am not sure about other clients.

Anyone please offer help
or otherwise any advice for installing a map and the scripts for mudlet.

If you see me online please feel free to ask and I'll give you a hand getting this setup. I'll be driving for a while shortly but then should be on later today/tomorrow

Fixed.
I installed 8.1 and then ran the cmud software etc and hey presto. Told me I needed direct play.

A huge thanks to Lyren Sedai, for whom I might of still been frustrated and not thinking straight. She came to my aid and offered her expertise in fixing my issues.

It was missing the components for direct play.
Both zmud and cmud work.
