Wheel of Time MUD

Im having trouble connecting through my zmud on pc. all the info is correct game.wotmud.org and 2224 for the port. Ive reinstalled zmud, restarted my pc, made a new char button, etc. still cant figure out why it wont connect.

does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

Try with something else to see if it is zMUD specific.. telnet or something?

Also if you have a smart phone, data connection, and WiFi try to download a mud app and try connecting on WiFi and data and see if either works

ok. tried Taziars suggestion. its not connecting when i use blowtorch and wifi. how ever with my mobile data on it will connect on blowtorch. telnet wont connect either. i imagine that leaves a problem with my IP mebbe?

It took me 30 mins to connect thought mud was down. I just idled and can't reconnect now.

I feel like this issue is being ignored. How do i find out if my IP is banned? its the only thing i can think of? and if it is then why?

If you can connect from other networks then yeah it's probably an IP ban or something. I did it to mine the other week messing around with my zmud and it autoreconnected a few too many times while the mud still had my IP registered as in the login phase... You usually get a couple clear warnings though before you get the auto ban that way.

It seems like Flash is the only one that can unban unfortunately but there's a few ways to get a different IP depending on your ISP/network.
