Someone remind me - How long does a pk corpse stay?

I killed someone, then died maybe 4 -5 rounds of combat later. Sat in CoD for 15 came out and my corpse and her corpse where gone?

I know for a fact Ive died before and come out of circle to see my corpse or other corpse that were there way more then 15.

Trying to figure out what is going on. I decide to take a risk, a df jaguar screwed me, but my consolation was at least Ill get my qps I lose back from scalp only to have corpse gone.

Just sort of threw me off.

Anyone wanna tell me the actual corpse timer?

I think you're just mistaken about how fast you got there. You died. A couple minutes later I rented. Waited 15 minutes and alted. Then you were narring about it and my counter was around 10 mins.

I looked at my timer when i didnt see the corpse and it was at 31:30 and I know I didnt hop into pk until a good 5 mins after being on so I figure at most it was 25 mins.

Anyone know the actual time for corpse decay??

I'm pretty sure corpse decay is 30 tics unless something changed it.

25 ticks, give or take a few seconds for lag, which matches my memory of when I last tested this.

Does zone purged erase corpses? You know, when you see that message, "The world seems a little cleaner" or something like that.

I believe only npc corpses clear on zone pop.
