How do you bash while you're bashed?

I've noticed this on several occassions and nobody answers why - I'll have them sitting for 2 rounds, then immediately after I get bashed - there's no timer for them that starts after being bashed. How's this work?

My first thought is how long is bash timer? Less than a round?

Every time I'm bashed, I can hit bash and it doesn't start counting until I'm done being bashed - I'm pretty sure I've not hit bash directly after theirs going off first, so continuing my bash timer after I'm bashed doesn't seem likely - it takes 1.5 or so rounds of combat. I've seen this happen immediately after they were bashed, no time whatsoever. I've asked them how they do it and they 'shrug'.

Past testing by Markus and others showed the bash timer to be 13 pulses, vs 12 pulses in a round.

If you miss a bash before your bashed, the landed bash only lasts one round, so both of you can start rolling after 1 round.

Example:

As *Taz* avoids your bash, you topple over and fall to the ground! <-- I miss

* R HP:Scratched MV:Full - Taz: Scratched >
*Taz* sends you sprawling with a powerful bash! <-- he lands

* R HP:Scratched MV:Full - Taz: Scratched >
*Taz* crushes your body very hard. <-- my 1 round being bashed

* R HP:Scratched MV:Full - Taz: Scratched >
*Taz* looks at you.

* R HP:Scratched MV:Full - Taz: Scratched > Bash
= <-- My timer starts before 2nd round.
You hack *Taz*'s left arm hard.
The first light of dawn illuminates Tarwin's Gap.
Your bash at *Taz* sends him sprawling!

One round then hey? I didn't know that, mine always pauses until after their second round, I'll have to try.

Do you have a log? What you're saying doesn't happen except with the edge case of autowimpy where someone can be "bashed" twice because they autoflee in between. And even that isn't really what you're getting at here.

Normally, your timer won't start until the bash wears off, and they'll get the 'they're still stunned' message if they try bashing while you're bashed. This is true whether or not the bash is two rounds or one like Atlan showed.
