Rules Regarding Clan Trinkets

Hi,

I'm looking for the rules pertaining to clan trinkets. What I'm specifically referring to is the rules concerning which trinkets can be placed into the rank 1 and rank 5 spot and in what combinations.

I've looked around the forums a bit and can't seem to find them.

I'll give an example - I don't believe a clan could choose to have an obsidian pendant be their rank 1 trinket and gold ring be their 5 rank trinket.

I guess what I'm saying is - one the spots will either be a belt or a cloak (ie. a spot where you can only issue one of the item) and the other spot will probably be a necklace or ring (so that the clan can wear 2 of something), but it could also be a belt or a cloak.

The only rule post I could find was: You may wear two of the same of your clan's trinkets at the same time, e.g. two clan rings, bracelets, or necklaces.

I looked this up this week for another clan.

From memory:

rank 1:
-bracelet (base item: ivy bracelet)
-cloak (base item: red robe, or the mc cape, or the plunging neckline dress, or that moves tabard)
-belt (base item: cbelt)

rank 5:
-ring (base item: gold ring)
-necklace (base item: obsid, or gchain, or torc)

So if a clan has both belt and cloak, they have to set one as rank 5?

Presumably - if you stare at the list a bit though you'll recognize that very few clans are cloak + belt. From a quick scan, ...Defenders and Wolfbrothers are about it. Iron Fist and Black Talon may be something else, but who cares about them.

I suspect that most clans selections would stay about the same if they were all put to a vote today. Interestingly, a gold ring is now the most annoying of the trinkets to acquire

Ivy bracelet as the base item for the bracelet option should probably be revised, but I don't think there's a lot of interest in that from either players or Immortals. Wouldn't hold my breath!
