In Cold Blood

Post by Gerry » Thu Aug 04, 2016 4:27 am

Is it against the constitution here to attack those who are young and nimble? Those who are defenseless and weak? Those who are merely trying to grow and learn? I was asking for information about stats and was brutally set upon by some mad man named Dolens.

Edge of the Cliff
Standing on top of a high hill the folding landscape spreads out showing
off its wild beauty. To the east an even taller hill rises, though this one
is all of stone with its sides sheared off to show the raw rock beneath.
Rock of gray, black, red, dull or glittering lines the cliff face. At the
top scraggly weeds and grass try to grow.

Circle of Light
High amidst the heavens, the Circle of Light is the hallowed ground of the
friends of the Light. From here, some of the major destinations around the
world can be reached, as shown by a large sign. A permanent fountain in the
center of the Circle gives a soothing backdrop to ponder mortal matters.

New characters should LOOK NAMES, HELP RULES, LOOK NOTICE and LOOK INTRO.

To obtain some free starting equipment, TELL GUARDIAN KIT.

It is strongly recommended that new players look at our website
at wotmud.org, before starting out, for the rules, maps, and more.

If you are here due to a pk and your pracs were reset because of it,
you can put your time in the Circle to good use by going north to
the Lightside practice area. Practices do not include channeler.
You will need to go to your appropriate in-game area to
practice weaves.

Killing of newbies or low level players is allowed, although it is frowned upon. Repeat offenders, the true griefer type, usually causes a response from both players and immortals.

Unless this was in the Eye of the World newbie zone, which is the only place in the game where player killing is absolutely banned.

We have a few rotten apples, generally people won't kill lowlevel players unless they interfere with player-killing, that is spamming doors during PK etc.
