hey all,

so i die a lot
my friends are very nice
they give me stuff

BUT

back in the day
the way to re-eq was
check barrels
kill an Andoran thief
kill giants w of cara for a shield
kill a lithe
then PK up with that

NOW

a lot of smobs etc have changed
we all have fancy characters
(i have R8 warrior, R7 channeler & hunter)
lithe kit may not work in pk

SO HOW

do i get like 4-5 backup sets for a character
a simple hunter with many names
just someone minding his own business
trying to RP with people

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR (and i think will help newer players also)

how do you re-eq
from scratch
if there's no one on the who list?

do you keep a spare char in a stab setup?
what are the smobs?
what are the spams (from known locations)

This is a good thread.

One of the easiest ways is just to do gold runs. Lug market is being stocked again now that there are more KMG around.

If not that there are still smobs that can be stabbed. Roland in andor. Orma by wb. Mos in the Aiel waste. Rene aiel. Aiel waste. Belroi by Cairhien. I believe Jimmy can also. In spine.

The popular thing to use right now though is channeler. A lot of players afk smob on them and they are capable of (over time) solo killing smobs.

Between that and the market you should be eq’d pretty easily.

So apparently i have the best character in the game for smobs now
I figured out basics and coin (thanks mazoku and maximus also!! )

Trinks - did use the market but it didn't have everything for a full set (like it has neckies but not rings, etc) and the info on the poster I think isn't accurate (even for the initial buy)

But other than that honestly I can see it is waaaay easier to regear

For rings, gold rings are pretty plentiful, but emeralds can be found on some mobs. I think there are some bandits that load one. Belt is a little harder, you might get stuck with sash if you cannot buy a cbelt from market. Same for cloaks. Dark hooded is 7 db, red robe is same but with parry I think. Gown/surcoat is best. Kcuffs are good, only 1 less pb than jcuffs. Can be gotten from Tear bandits chain and some other places. Sungwoods are ok too I guess but more parry focused. Wrist stuff is hardest to find imo. Knecks are relatively easy to find and close to sids in stats, sids are much more common now tho imo.

Really what you ought to do is try and be on when loaders are active. There is a chance certain Andor smobs load a rare trinket or something like that. It can drop cbelts, gold rings, jcuffs, egown/surcoat, etc.

If you're talking abs that can be re eqed super easy. Just solo fd smob a few times on a channie, make sure to release / sleep before tick, time it so you don't get aggroed, use ice or fire depending on weather. Good way to make a few coins and eq a mob too.
