It does. You can maximize your attack by leveling up or by practicing it.

Most people practice it if they can because I believe you can rapidly reach attack percentage levels that exceed the innate bonus you receive per level.

I do not know what the innate bonus is. This would be an excellent time for someone to help the Wot Wiki out :)

Your attack will go off more often the higher level you are. You can increase the chance further by practicing attack, yes.

My experience is 90% attack practiced goes off way more then just being level 51...

The other thing I've heard is that if you practice attack you no longer get any level based attack, it then depends only on the practices.

Final figure is how many rounds on average to get an extra attack, ie lvl 44 was 1 extra attack every 4 rounds, 50 with 91% attack was 1 extra attack every 1.41 rounds.

Level 44, 0 attack:- 384 attacks 96 attack procs=4
Level 50, 0 attack:- 550 attacks 221 attack procs= 2.489

Level 50, 66% attack:-442 attacks 252 attack procs= 1.754
Level 50, 76% attack:- 292 attacks 179 attack procs=1.63
Level 50, 85% attack:- 370 attacks 242 attack procs=1.53
Level 50, 91% attack:- 181 attacks 128 attack procs=1.41

Thanks for adding that Chavaon.

There's a small part of me that looks at it and thinks - hrm, maybe I have too much attack. That said, I feel like those small differences between higher percentages could bear out impressively the more frequently you are berserk in combat. Small differences multiplied by thousands of rounds of combat...

Perhaps someone who is reading this thread can extrapolate that information here:

Not that low when you factor in the damage per hit I think Eol, just the way I set it out makes it look low.

Assuming you're whacking an abser and doing 5 damage per hit, which I think is low but the higher your damage the more effective your extra attacks are:-

100 rounds @ lvl 50 + 91% attack will give an extra 70.92, at 5 dmg per hit that's an extra 354.6 damage

100 rounds @lvl 50 + 85% attack will give an extra 65.36 attacks, extra 326.8 damage

So over the course of a 100 rounds 6% attack there is giving you 27.8 damage extra at 5 damage per attack.

If you're doing 10 damage per attack, it's an extra 55.6 damage per 100 rounds.

Over 1000 that's 556, so every thousand rounds zerk you can kill an extra abser plus a low hp channie! :P

I think that's a great explanation. Its one of those things like being ..99% accurate - but if you do something a million times then you really weren't that accurate. You needed to be 99.99999%.
