Ride and survival

Post by Magdan » Sat Dec 05, 2015 1:56 am

How do you practice your hunters? Is having level 7 ride and survival a necessity? What does level 7 ride do for you over level 6, does it affect your moves at all? Or does it just lessen your defense malus and give you more ob? Someone go in depth for me! I've always been curious on the specifics of it all. I normally just get both level 7, but I want to save some pracs is it worth it to not get 7 ride? Does level 7 ride help over 6 for north pk or mountainous terrain? Thanks!

The wotmud wiki entries give some pretty good detail on Survival's precise impact, and the huge advantage of level 7 over level 6, but what if any move benefit level 7 Ride gives is not documented.

You should also take a look at the Track entry, since it gives the matrix of Ride and Track levels that determines the number of lines of mounted autotrack you get.

You'll need level 7 ride for 4 lines of autotrack, so if you plan on pking/leading it is a must in my eyes. I'm also fairly sure it significantly reduces your mvs cost, but I have no data to back it up, I've always gotten level 7 ride
