Forums Idle out

Anyone know what the new idle out time on forums is? I swear it is signing me out every 2 minutes (probably slightly exaggerated).

No, I don't think you are exaggerating it. I can go read a mail, click back to the main page, and be logged out already. It is actually nuts. I'm not sure if it is an idle out timer, or a cookie issue, or what, but it is driving me insane.

Nah it’s awful. Vampa said he fixed it though so we might be good now

Definitely annoying. I've gotten to the point I copy paste into a notepad before I do anything. Writing posts was nearly impossible otherwise.

Bumping this as I don't think the issue has been resolved--at least, I'm still forcibly logged out when traveling between pages on one thread, traveling between different forum communities, and when attempting to initiate a reply or post a reply.

I think it’s better when just looking at forums, but the time in which you’re allowed to write responses is definitely much shorter. If you hit submit without having copied what you’ve written you’re likely to lose it completely!
