Wheel of Time MUD

My laptop is seriously heading towards the naughty step of doom.
So would it be viable to use cmud or zmud on a surface 3 or laptop?

My router is fine. I updated the network card/Wi-Fi.
I still loose connection to much . other things are sluggish.like Skype and browsers.

I'd suggest avoiding using wireless if you can, that may solve your connection problems. Wireless is awful.

I had endless trouble with wifi unti I sucked it up and bought a cable. Solid AF ping now.

I am using an Ethernet cable now, but sporadically it comes unplugged and my connection goes. Also Skype seems to be lagging itself and everything it comes into contact with.
So whatever I get will need an Ethernet output

Doesn't MicroSoft own Skype now {muahahaha, } - I'd disable it and find some other lower bandwidth back-channel communications system to use to communicate with others whilst Mudding...

{That reminds me I really must find the time to get around to porting MMCP into Mudlet - *sigh*}
