Clan Ocean ships

Is there a way to invite people on to a clan ship?
It rings a bell that there is, but can't find it documented anywhere.

Not sure. I know it can be boarded by anyone at a different city's port, however. So could do it that way.

There was at one time, but I think people abused it to pull enemies onto the ship and it got taken out. Sail to any port other than port of origin and any can board. Only clanned can board in home dock.
