Wheel of Time Series Refresher

The frustrating thing is, some of the best aspects and scenes of the books start to come into play after book 6 - cleansing of saidin in Winter's Heart is a great example.

The problem is, there's so much tedium to get through (I mean the whole Elayne fight for the throne could be cut out easily)

I'd like to think I might one day to a full re-read, but if I didn't read so quickly, and didn't know to basically skip any chapter with a female point of view from book 5 onwards, even that would probably never happen.

I had fun listening to the audio books over a period of 9 month to a year. Was a fun way to revisit the series.
