Active LS clans

Post by Racquel » Mon Oct 31, 2016 3:51 am

What are the current LS clans that are a) active(ish) - 'active' is relative I guess; and b) still have some level of rp*; and c) ISN'T the winged guard?

*Rp is also a relative term...

Wall Guard maybe... The Children of Light seems to be recruiting as well... That's all I can think of!

Salcav has had quite a bit of activity lately. Civil Watch is also pretty active I'd say. Then It always comes down to what level of RP you want..

Most RP will be in clans that interact with the White Tower in my experience...

COL in that you can RP that you hate them, Gaidin and (pre gaidin clan?) you can work with them.

Illuminator and gleeman of course if you want to perform RP

When I hear RP clans, here is what I generally think of today:
1. Tower (not including Gaidin or Valon)
2. Wisdoms
3. Winged Guard
4. Gleeman
5. Illuminators

Outside of that, in my opinion no other clan has strict RP enforcement, sadly. What I do find is it comes down to specific individuals who enjoy RP and if you can find them, it can be a lot of fun.

I think a lot of the RP requirements were lessened to help cope with a smaller player base. I do kinda miss the days of Tower vs *oL.. it feels weird being so amicable, but I think I understand why it is the way it is? But then again, is it the way it is because I am conforming to pressures to not stir the pot? Many people enjoy harmonious RP, its easy and sometimes equally boring. I think things can become much more interesting when its not like that. (though I'm not sure I'd want to see any sameside wars, as there are plenty of trolls and remorts to fight off)

it's because Raal gives such nice tea parties now and Rayven such good massages.

Do Gleemen/Illuminators RP or just give performances?

I think the nature of the clan tends to bring in people that like to RP a lot more in normal circumstances compared to other clans, not just performances.

My preference is to Rp rather than perform. In fact, I usually make a point of not performing. But seeing as I only get qps for performing and not Rp, I often don't even log on.
