Hello,
If anyone would be willing to contribute the names and locations of Wotmud deathtraps it would be appreciated. The information will be added to the wotmud wiki.
Ideally the information would be descriptive.
ie. the name of the deathtrap, the name of the zone, its approximate location.
Thanks!

Re: Names of Deathtraps
You mean the certain-death-straight-away type places (like that steep hill-side to the East of Baerlon, south of the Caemlyn - Two-Rivers road, IIRC) rather than the rooms where it is decidedly unhealthy to enter ("you'll never get out alive...") as a lone newbie (like that basement room in the Inn in Whitebridge)?
Re: Names of Deathtraps
The goal is to supplement the list found here:
http://wotmud.wikia.com/wiki/Deathtrap
Namely - true deathtraps, with as much descriptive information as can be added to help people have an idea of where to be cautious. In the not so distant past I got the idea in my head that I wanted to explore a zone just east of Caemlyn that I had never been to. DTed 3 minutes into my search in a very nice kit. Didn't get the exploring bug back for a long time.
I suppose it would be interesting to learn the names of ...weird rooms or places that have behavior that guarantees a player will die in them or not be able to recover their equipment. Maybe or maybe not appropriate to include it in the deathtrap article, but I'm sure there's a place for it.
(I just started a new job where I'm very busy so I doubt I will be writing it, but hopefully someone else will get the contributing bug - I had a really good time trying to put my thoughts and ideas into text on wot wiki - props to the people who run it - very welcome of people)

Yeah, I recall cousin Jath found there is at least TWO lethal swamp rooms south east of the bridge on the Road on the Northern exit outside Caemlyn - fed from the stream that passed under the bridge from what he said.Paigey wrote:...
