How do chit's spawn?
Just curious if it is known how chit's spawn. Do they only get put on smobs by IMMs or is there a low chance that a smob could randomly load one at any time?

pretty much imm's only.
edit - that being said sometimes they put on something that has chits spawn every 2 hrs on random smobs but that isnt very often.

In general, they have to be seeded, though sometimes (at announced times) the imms will insert MOBOL that causes small numbers to spawn randomly every couple of hours.
Note that Alamir the Horse Trader (e.g. Horsethief Smob) *may* still have a low % chance of loading a tin without seeding. And there was a period where Shadow Knight also had a small % chance, but I'm pretty sure that's been removed.

FYI last long weekend had lots of chits (and fireworks) as it was a special event where Cerys/I loaded more chits into the game every 6-8 hours or so around the clock to reach players in all timezones.
This isn't a normal everyday thing as we don't want to flood the game or permanently disrupt pk (due to people choosing to smob instead), but I expect some Days of Summer events will include chits again at some point.
