That will teach me to go outside without WvD. Made a few mistakes, failed two flees, but only parrying 4 attacks the entire fight when in a full kit (-1 jcuff) is rough.

Should not be able to stand against two heavy hitters (that too one with zerk attack) and weave without worries :p This is more an oops than an ouch ;)

the problem was the dlines thats what got her killed should not of dlined from a 4 exit would of been better off fleeing to the next room then trying for a dline

this assumes that both player's link is the same -- especially against Ghast, I find you NEED to put in a few movements after a flee otherwise he will walk in and engage you before your next movement command gets through.

25% chance to backfire, sure, but you may not have a better option.

I think Gretchen is talking about controlled fleeing. The idea is you flee and get caught as expected in a better dline room (hence why she says you have better dlines from the other rooms).

I don't know how all this is with fleelag changes but speaking as someone with one of the slowest links here, it is still far better to control flee than random unless you are in abs with 10 hp :p

Try not to flee when you know someone is trying to bash you. Otherwise autowimpy isn't working for you.

As a channeler with 280 hps it does matter because of dmg.

isable is right so from 6 w u dont dline u just flee

if u flee n to the e or s exit you have safe dlines to flee away same with 1e so is a 75% chance the next room has a safe dline

if u flee w you do the same thing again and dont dline and basicly bounce around till you hit a room u can dline from

this is of corse assuming they are fast enough to catch you before u can figure out which way u fled and move away in the other direction (which ruby could of done if not for the over spam 1e as they was slow chasing she had time to move e and even if they do catch u 1e u can dline south and flee away easy )

For what it’s worth this is a strong indicator someone is using a chase trigger. Sometimes if you spam a dir when someone flees you can replicate it but that’s guesswork in multiexit rooms
