For a little bit of a follow up.

Castiens kit runs about 146 - 147db without armor, which he didn't have at the time.

Assuming you are in abs and pounding, gonna take a stab and say War Mallet.

Offensive Bonus 174 (estimated based on 19 x x x 19 stats with 99 weapons prac and 5lbs pack weight + berserk)
Parry Bonus 22 (assuming best case scenario of parry trinkets)
Weapon Weight 18.2

Looks like you just got screwed by RnG, for a cheap ass abs kit and a mallet i think 37% chance of landing on a perfect kit of dodge is pretty reasonable.

Edit - i failed to even factor in +5 ob for warriors so its more like 40-41%
