Burnt Wagons

Old Road
The road still plods slowly north and south, as if it will never change, never
pass through any interesting places, but only head north and south forever.

Bridge. It has been standing for longer than anyone can say, and it probably
will stand for many years to come. The bridge spans a narrow ravine as it

bare rock face.

The only exit from this section of the forest lies back to the south. In all
other directions, the underbrush and vines take over the spaces between the
trunks of the Westwood. The forest is rather dense, even here at its edge,

small animal trail winds its way through the dense trees. The frequent
passage of small beasts has made a passable path by preventing the growth

Deeper Westwood
The dense, shadowy forest of the Westwood continues to the west and to the
north. To the south the forest continues, but it seems to be much thinner
in that direction.

Into the Westwood
The Westwood lies to east and west, and is slightly less thick to east. It
almost seems foolish, since nothing is in sight, but the lack of visibility
here is unsettling. The wood is alive with animals, as evidenced by the noise,
but few animals are visible.

The Westwood grows thickly throughout its domain, but it becomes even denser
to the north and south. To the east, it continues in much the same character

The wood is thickly grown here, but the occasional gap in the forest canopy

The wood opens to the south and north from this point. It becomes thinner
to the south. A tangle of vines and brambles blocks progress to the east
and to the west. The wood in the west remains very shadowy and crowded with

sinkholes underfoot.

Deep Inside the Forest
A giant tree stands here, looking as if it has been dead for some time.
The tree is surrounded by many pine needles that have been compacted down
on the ground, as if this is an often visited place. The bark on the tree is
very old and loose. Some huge vines grow up the trunk of the tree wrapping

Hindsight is always nice :p But alas I basically expected to be 1 shotted and die. I didn't notice I even dragged my mob either. I should of ordered him to bash first (granted would of probably missed as wsl bash is spotty at best) and kept opening the door fleeing etc. Ahh well tis life. I shouldn't of been fighting a fc who wasn't even low around there. Personally I think I'm going to avoid that place like the plague. It's a terrible spot to fight in unless you have backup so you can easily win it. It's a losing type of situation in most cases if the fight can go either way. If it's against a channeler it's even worse as there very powerful. In honesty I died to save my mob and horse who were stuck on mobs north of there. How brave of me...or dumb one of those :p I did some good ol misspamming into the door that was demise.
