rusted and appears as if it would break at the first touch. A bucket dangles
from a frayed and well used rope. The large granite stones that make up
the sides of the well have become brittle with age and are falling apart.
The ground around the well shows signs of grass sprouting in small clumps
indicating that there must be some water within the well. The courtyard
continues in all directions, and the entrance to the southern keep lies to
the east.

What's the fail? I've always liked the equal timing between bash and spike, from both perspectives. Granted it sucks a lot more 1v1 but, unless you stab or charge perhaps, IDK that it should be expected that any class beats a channie 1v1 and I think that's probably OK. No channels stink IMO because it just promotes NOT fighting, they make a channie useless. Perhaps if you get low enough to bait the channie into one...

I'm guessing it's both the same time bash+weave as well as the fact that Gretchen parried and dodged all hits while bashed buffing 6 opponents two rounds in a row.

been dug up and carted away almost continuously to the smelting pits to the
north. The little that is left of these plains has been churned into a muddy
substance. Over it all is a thick layer of soot from the north and a
sulphurous fog from the east. A dismal path extends west towards a large
range of mountains.
