embers are warm, emitting the smell of charred wood. This spot has been used
recently, but by who is hard to tell, as their are no tracks that are visible.
A small clearing in the thick forest lies to the east while the forest runs off
to the north.

Forested Borderlands
As the thick forest continues in all directions that you look, this one spot
opens just a bit allowing some breathing room. The underbrush has been burned
out, exposing a soft, black, fertile soil that allows the forest to grow so
thick. A small campfire is assembled within the tree just to the west of where
you stand as the forest extends to the north and east.

Although the edge of the blight is not far to the south, the sickly yellow
has almost completely obscured the healthy land here. The air is foul and
ripe, yet sweet. All around you are sickly and broken trees with black and

The Mountains of Dhoom are clearly visible from here, black peaks stretching
to the sky. The mountains dominate the northern horizon, and range as far as
you can see to the east and west. The air is sweet and fetid, and the odd
combination reminds you of some swamp or mire.

The Blight
Here the Blight opens right upon the very edge of the Mountains of Dhoom. The
mountain range dwarfs you, and covers the sky as far as you can see along the
horizon. The smallest of the peaks rise in front of you, but the base of the
mountains are completely unclimbable.
