I found it really hilarious and quite silly to kill an obviously afk player, though, regardless of whether or not you knew the player at the time of killing. I'm simply alerting others of the no-afk-mud philosophy.

While I understand this, killing an obviously AFK person is still bad form. Do we really want to play a game where if we get interrupted for a few minutes it's generally acceptable behavior to kill you? I like the name and shame. Who needs enemies when your friends will afk kill you.

It's a PK mud and you are at risk of dying any time, but as players, it's nice to show some restraint once in a while.
