It surprised me as I browsed this forum that there is no specific thread dedicated to channeler vs. channeler PK. So, I'm starting a thread here, feel free to add to it if you find it enjoyable.

Outside the Western Gate of Lugard
The towering gates of the city of Lugard loom overhead to the east. The
dirt road leading away from the gates is hard-packed and well travelled.
Ruts have formed in places, due to the passage of many wagons and
carriages. Spreading out to the west are the rolling hills of Murandy,
covered by grassy fields and pine forest. The road continues on to the
west, towards the River Manetherendrelle, and beyond that the Damona
Mountains and Altara, but it becomes lost from view in the rolling hills.

I didn't exactly stack commands for when I entered, but there must have been some pretty good lag on my end. I couldn't believe the spike still landed, even on PONR.

Failing the follow up FS (with 99% practiced) while getting spiked for the death was the MUD rubbing salt into my wounds!

how do you unroll the tick timer on Cmud? I kind of remember that being helpful on channeler fights

If I remember right, and you're probably referring to the "spinning timer", it is possible on Zmud, but not Cmud from what I remember reading (A Cmud expert might be able to verify, as I never used Cmud). It also is functional in mudlet.

Fire Avenue
The buildings lining this avenue have a strange luster about them. During
the day light and heat from the sun seems to reflect off the gleaming faces
of the buildings creating the illusion that the avenue, itself, is on fire.
And at night light that escapes from the grand windows facing the road bounces
back and forth along the avenue illuminating all nooks and corners. Lampposts
also line the sides of the road making the way seem bright even on the darkest
night. The bright lights dim a little to the east indicating the Gate to
Osenrein while the illuminated way continues west.

I heard Rylen narrating about the coming of the Dragon Reborn and attempted to hunt him down. I detected him around Four Kings before he disappeared, and I was able to follow his horse tracks to south of Emond's Field, where this log picks up. I was rusty after all that time spent statting in the past few months, but this was a lot of fun to get back into fighting male channelers!

All in all, this was a great showing by Rylen and a lot of fun for me to shake off some of the rust from the past few months. He told me afterwards that he had 15 HP left at the end. If i had gotten a single PONR Flame Strike I would've won! Kudos to him.

I remain conflicted on Slice Weaves. There were multiple parts there when I was Beaten and Rylen fled from me that I thought, "This is it, he's going to break out Earthquake now and kill me." In contrast, with Good SPs and him at Critical, if I had used Earthquake I also could have won that way. I decided to drop it for my current setup because (1) Slice Weaves is totally thematically appropriate for Red Ajah, and (2) I want to give it a longer trial to see if using it just a few times per spar is enough to steal the advantage and throw someone off their timing. Because it's much cheaper than Earthquake, and doesn't cause collateral damage, I think ultimately I might be more likely to use it in my normal PK scenarios than Earthquake.
