Atop an Old Stone Tower
The outpost was presumably once covered with a roof, but nothing remains
of it now. An approximately waist-high wall surrounds the stone platform that
is the floor of this tower. This was perhaps once a border outpost, built to
watch the boundaries of a long-forgotten kingdom and keep it safe. Now the
forest below is much too dense to be able to see anything from up here.

The outpost was presumably once covered with a roof, but nothing remains
of it now. An approximately waist-high wall surrounds the stone platform that
is the floor of this tower. This was perhaps once a border outpost, built to
watch the boundaries of a long-forgotten kingdom and keep it safe. Now the
forest below is much too dense to be able to see anything from up here.

1 master, 3 PC, 1 Mob

vs

1 Fade, 1 Master, 4 mobs, fade mob, shadow stallion

If 2 LS on kill dha, 2 on kill dhai you could make it more like 5 v 6, but lykan is fast enough he probably would have rescued mobs and spread you out again...

Was Byrg low to start or did you not know Lykan was there?

Mainly the alternative was boring. We thought we had 1 or 2 more not far away, but that ended up being a bust after we hit.

Lykan had been low right before that, and it's Byrg so he did take a meatshield beating. :P Really though, sitting 1d would have been HORRIDLY boring, so we took the risk before they could regen much (fking tinful) and rolled the dice on the gamble, and it didn't go our way. It haaaaappens.

Meanwhile in EF, Melat rummages through a barrel looking to re-gear, hears the cries of death in an outpost and runs to the scene, only to be told things were going well, but then not so much, and to run far...far...away.

but I suppose if I went in there and Zerked, perhaps it could have made a difference.

Seemed pretty close to me, or I wouldn't have posted. If the LS warriors would've zerked earlier it may've won it and if they were in 1 proper group they likely would've won. If I hadn't been on top of mobs so well, we almost definitely would've died, too. If any one of those things happen, they likely would've won. If two happen they almost definitely win and if all happen they win pretty easily.

A close door fight risking some basic abs kits for full kit/unique/reav 1 seems like a good risk to me, too.
