As one looks to the east, however, the trees begin to thin out a bit. The

alike. It is hard to get one's bearings in these thick woods and it would
be quite easy to become lost. It would not take much more than a
smouldering cinder to set off a massive forest fire in the surrounding

What would you have done differently if you could go back? What's your plan for fighting channelers in the future?

I'm not really sure the point of your client turning mud messages into shorter versions, but I sure hope your spike message doesn't show the same way for melting and non-melting spikes.

Using "kick horse" circumvents autorescue when a human has level 5 ride (all humans who want to bash mounted will have level 6 ride), but will provide you with a round of kick lag. Without even touching the ethics of this - how effective do you think this will be in fast moving PK. If the human autoflees and your leader rapidly chases - where will you be?

"Bash human" is an alias every troll should have, but it probably isn't one to be spammed. Try and think of some situations where it would be useful to type "bash human" or just "bash" in general without "kill human".

well truth to tell of course I think it was a good thing that I ran :)

and yeah [bash human] was just a wrong bindkey, I actually forgot to switch my client to wotmud-specific config.

point of turning mud messages into shorter versions is to see better what is going on of course :) so that I don't miss a particular message I need not to miss.
sorry I don't have the luxure of 10+ years in the wotmud to notice it all as it is. I only play here for couple of months in overall or something like this :)

I hope you know that I was joking about it being your fault...not much you could have done but stayed a little lower to loot toribio maybe. Just another note on spamming bash...it eats moves I believe if you are spamming it while not engaged.

Something small to keep in mind there is that you were likely going to be the lowest priority target as far as weaving, and you and Toribio were both on Nasira. What that means is you could roll bashes with low chances that the channie will be weaving on you. If you land, you're neutralizing and dealing a ton of damage to the main source of damage (your damage plus Toribio's master damage + extra zerk rounds.) If you miss, the weave lands on Toribio anyway.

Toribio says Nasira was bashed and ate some frags and was batt pretty quickly so in fact there were decent chances to win or fight them off.

Considering targets, well, it turns out I'm targeted pretty often in fact. It is understandable though: I rarely can efficiently run away and even narrating my current position can be a big problem sometimes - it is sooo easy to get lost if you don't know the world.. And everybody wants a sure scalp!
