#posted this hear instead of the fails thread because of the length.
#after a clumsy attempt by zerpit and ghast to jump me low I ran south and found lynera was fighting fertilizer around gap.

Fork Before a Crumbling Tower
The road splits to the east and west here, going around a burned out
watchtower. Due to frequent use, the road is in fairly good condition, with
no plant-life infringing on it. Small ruts can be seen from the various
supply wagons that go to and from Tarwin's gap.

The smell of over-ripe vegitation fills your nostrils. This section of the
forest is strangely blighted compared to most of the other areas. The limbs
of the oak trees are heavy with corruption, and the spines on the pine
cones are razor sharp, hoping to catch a traveler unaware.

The road continues east and west here, stolidly continuing around the
watchtower to the southeast. To the north and northwest, trees and bushes
can be seen, though they have a strange, sickly appearance. A cold wind
blows from the north, cutting through even the warmest clothes.

The road bends east and south here, around a hill. The road has been packed
hard beneath the hooves of many a horse, and the boot of many an
infantryman. To the southeast, crowning the hill, are the broken remains of
a Shienaran watchtower, now all but useless.

Small holes in the road make this section of the winding road quite
difficult for most mounts. The dirt seems to have been dug out in small
circles, just large enough to catch the corner of a hoove. The winding road
curves north and west here, continuing its journey.

rubble to the southeast. A tower rises up above the surrounding trees that have
encroached on the crumbling fort.

Vines and hedges sprawl across the rubble, claiming back what civilization once
took. Much of the tower still remains intact, though its roof and one side has
crumbled to the ground.

Pine needles, long since turned brown cover the forest floor. Giant
mushrooms thrive on the decaying matter. Some form large plate-like
growths, others more tubular in nature. The trees grow in such proximity it
becomes very difficult to move through the forest.

Amongst the Rubble
Large stones and small cover the immediate area. Most are worn from the
elements, but one side on each has been smoothed and polished. There is no
pattern to them, other than in its randomness. The ground is pitted in some
places, and many of the stones are somewhat underground.

covered with old soot and burn markings.

You wonder how old this path is - it is well worn, but still totally concealed
from the sky, for some reason. You can barely see the sky from here, so totally
do the trees cover the path. However, you can just barely glimpse the bottom of
a tower ahead to the north, at the end of this path.

merchant caravan. A pair of smashed wagons are here by the side of the road.
Looking around, you see no bodies lying around, but you get the feeling that
they were only recently cleared out - else the wagons would have been removed
also. There is no visible way that the bodies were taken away - you can't see
any tracks along the road, nor any paths among the thickset trees. The road
continues east and west.

Was good pk, I was at 10-70 hps that entire time. Can't believe I didn't die when you bashed me at beat with the mobs on me south of Kajin.
