well yeah we can always do something else and not play wotmud or go and stat :)

if that's what we want 1/3 of the wotmud day to look like - statters, LS farming cityheads, and that's it, then sure.

think elysia has come up with a great fix overnight in response to my post though!

Yeah similarly if you want your small numbers pk you've got access to discord - unless you ask for help I'm not going to come and gank whoever you're fighting. That said on the flip side of that 3 times now in the last two weeks I've left players who are obviously afk and they've promptly hit us with numbers.

I absolutely refuse responsibility for the people who are literally spending hours each day just waiting to try and get easy qps hitting cityhead groups, rather than raiding or pking or doing literally any other chortlesnorfling thing. Clearly if they wanted to pk you instead they would do that.

With respect to the comments - again, most of you are 'leet' or 'top tier' pkers - and you chortlesnorfling KNOW that if you bring a smash group vs my smob group we're going to lose. The fact that 1-2 people can 'consistently' derail us - and literally only die when they make stupid mistakes (I'm sorry, if you're pking a group solo around a door don't get caught in it, if there are 3+ fcs in a room don't clumsy a stab on someone else when you're below healthy, if you're fighting a whole group and there are mobs, why are you eating multiple bashes vs the whole group rather than leaving them on mobs.). We've had great pk vs 1-5 DS vs our groups who actually use mobs and weigh up risks. I've died to solo pkers 3-4x during this stuff - some of the mobs are so upped that we literally have people dying to the cityhead before DS even rock up.

I feel like the changes were surgery with a chainsaw, but I also feel like the irony of complaining about people sometimes (and only of late) countering your constant hits for essentially free TPs and QPs (while you spam-check in real time how many DS are on) because they want "easy QPs" makes my brain hurt.

all of it is funny logic

- we hit cityheads becuase nothing else is happening
- we can't stay to pk when ds numbers create any risk because there are newer ppl in the group
- hitting cityheads means newer people get some pk experience/exposure so it is actualy good for pk

What's funny about this is, a lot of the time from my experience is me spending 30 minutes looking for pk and getting nothing, and then renting only to get told 15 minutes later that LS is just smobbing cityheads. It's quite obvious that you don't want to actually pk, and nobody else wants to pk, so what do you want people to do? Let you take your fun-group into every DS city without any response? Get real, if you have a problem getting hit doing smobs/city-heads then stop smobbing and go pk. Lot's of people on the look out for pk constantly only to get met with a bunch of people too afraid on both sides to do anything other than bring a smash group and roflstomp the opposition into nonexistence or continue ignoring them and smobbing for rewards.

So why not remove the playground? And find some way to mask how many seanchan are on? Also when did we decide to go with smash group? I was more of a fan of ganksquad.

Hes not referring to you rig, but literally each time cityheads get done, it jumps from 0-1 ds on at the start of the first cityhead to 3-4 ds grouped and hitting before the first cityhead dies. Its not the fact that theres pk thats an issue, its the way it goes down every single time where people are just waiting for us to hit so they can message everyone out of game to try and gank

Call me crazy, but despite having been on some pretty large DS who lists recently, I've never, ever seen DS who lists hit 15+ consistently. Numbers across the game are pretty decimated and 15 online for DS would be right in line with LS numbers, which seem to be between 15-25 (often including statters) with the odd forays into 30 during peak hours. I would say that outside of certain time zones, who lists are actually closer in numbers these days than in the past.

Also, the hours that a lot of these hits are happening (2-6 hours after boot) haven't exactly been traditionally peak hours. There's just more incentive and inclination to log on and get free TPs for more people who are available or willing to play those hours than there is to mount defenses.
My memory is broken - I have a semi-recent memory of what seemed like a happy time on darkside before the changes where I thought our numbers were good. That said - I feel like I saw your alts playing a lot around then too and if you say we didn't hit 15 we probably didn't.
I would LOVE to see the numbers if a tally could be made of how many ls cityheads got farmed back in january compared to how many ds ones are getting done now. all of this "LS is having so many masters and free qps and tps" is blown way out of proportion seeing as I have been involved in every hit except one and still only added up to about 10 cityheads, the times that Eol is referring to I remember DS hitting almost every city 2x-3x per night (getting more tps per day than we have gotten total) and nobody made an issue out of it.
