lol am sure all this is pretty random - but 4 times over 1.5 days really takes all the motivation out of trying to get pk to happen.

on a more learning curve note - actually i don't think i have one here other than 'combo' and probably to play at a differnet server time. but yeah if anyone spots something happy to hear it.

Here I get pushed to N RK where they have rotten blocked and I get crit with Razhak chasing me around. Eventually get past and go in FD 10 hps. Was wishing R guy had just used mobs in N RK or blight zone instead of hwo it played out. The other frustrating thing was that either they didn't chase past DF or i think were dusty barely a tic or so after 2-3 tics when I hit mid-beat went back out I had to go hit scout go blight etc all over again.

Ran into Razhak and was low beat vs him It hink batt or high beat. I go get a mob to try to even this out (and I was expecting him to drop a mob Ragan etc).

Bailed here and ran south because I was too low. I'm not terribly sure what I could have done here since hps were too low. My main thought is just how much how I hate Ragan there lol. That kno'mon pat eating up wolves is also really frustrating because I think those wolves were really one of the best things about gap pk. Only reason to go north as an abser would be to kick start pk which seems futile if there are no other LS on to pk with if you did get something going.

For each time you get a good wire fight you will probably get this run out 5 times?

You are probably the only person still trying this because the above illustrated method has very high success rates...wait until they are low and change the numbers...it is also why they don't stay dusty or hit kajin...

There isn't really an answer just takes more players doing risky behaviors in order to get interesting pk. Many are not willing. You being willing and trying to make it happen doesn't help the problem, just reward the sitters with QPs.

I'd suggest playing SS or raiding as DS. SS you can tell who is online at least and get a sense that way and also communicate with tells and yells so I'd guess piledriving would be rarer. DS raiding you have many fall back points and typically pkers to help if you find something interesting...

It's tough to "raid" north solo, especially in ABS.

If you have charge, stab or weave there might be opportunities sometimes, but that's situational. Running into 2+ DS'ers, especially with the amount of remorts now, is tough. It's also pendulum swing, I know there's times when LS are just killing DS city heads without opposition...

Dont be so mad. Yesterday you dropped link in LS, and we let you live at sub 50 hps when you did. Earlier today, we chased you into FD, and you died in there. We left your eq, and you decided to come north and the situation in this log happened. You knew there was 2-4 of us around.

It's not like we only wait up north, I am daily inside FD, Caemlyn, WB, name any other city (Mayene the other day) trying to kill humans, and dying when they show up in force also.

When I hit south of FD, I expect to get swamped by humans, and work around that fact accordingly. You did not even really get swamped: you went into a dead end route and died to 3 DS.

I wish when I raid, that my opposition is limited to only 3 LS at a time :P

Was wishing R guy had just used mobs in N RK or blight zone instead of hwo it played out.
I was annoyed at Chomper for coming when you were already basically dead vs. me and one other at heart the time before this, but people aren't obligated to control PK numbers when you're hitting scouts, ratting/ravening, and getting flocked all over the place. What people can control includes not just going in low crit in abs (thereby giving you at least a shot to finish), not group, and hit you at mobs when you go there. All things that we've done at some time or another when you come up. You look for PK, you find it, you not being able to handle 2-3 mostly non-masters even using mob support is more a function of your choice to be abs than anything else. If you want to run around solo in unfriendly territory and keep fights going against multiple, you'd definitely be better off in combo. In abs, mobs only help so much after awhile.

Yeah, all good points. About going up to unfriendly territory in abs - my entire day is usually 2-7 LS on and most of them statters. So it's really either don't try to pk at that time.

Razhak, if I'm LD it's either because link died, or I died of boredom. Either way, I genuinely don't care if you need closure on the pk.

The transfer to SS is an interesting idea, will give it some thought if changing my playtime isn't possible.

Honestly the same thing happens when you go south as a trolloc. You go andor or whatever and a tic later you’re running from 10+. If people log on or in afk and want to pk they will go to fight whoever is close.

I'd just keep narrating. Statting is like the LS form of well-guarding. Often seems like when PK picks up, 5 statters rent and 5 PKers log on.

I don’t think anyone is particularly incorrect with things they’ve said here. Except Raz but I almost always think Raz says silly stuff.

We do need to try to self regulate though. I definitely do try to back off if there’s a dung ton of ls chasing ds in the south for instance.

I mean surely gangbanging solos and small numbers isn’t fun for you guys right? I know it’s not for me. I don’t understand the point.
