Paendrag Intersection
The slender streets open up into this wide intersection. To the north, a
long ramp leads up to the Sun Palace. The huge structure rises tall and
beautiful against the backdrop of the sky. To the west, the area of the
city where the merchants hawk their wares bustles with activity. Other
stores and homes line the streets that extend off the intersection at
sharp, right angles.

This smaller side street runs off of the large Paendrag intersection to the
north. It bypasses much of the city, making its way straight to the gate of
the Golden Dawn. Even though this street is small, it is thick with
traffic, as people make there way to and from the gate.

Tall, arched gates guard the southern entrance into the great city of
Cairhien. The thick stone walls guard the the city, forming an impenetrable
wall around the homes and buildings inside. A small ladder sits off to the
side of the gate, leading up into the watch towers that sit atop the
massive gate. People stream in and out of the gate, from merchants coming
to sell their wares, to weary travelers looking for an inn.
