Well, this is a game where anything goes, except where there are rules involves, and except where the rules can be bent to benefit your friends or self.

Why go through the trouble of doing a quest to get the unique if you can just hand it over to your cross-alt self/friend After liberating it from the opposition. The Dark One obviously doesn't care. Watchers don't. Let's just get rid of the quest (since it isn't required) and make it a normal unique.

As for cross siding stuff, it continues happening becuAse players don't hold others accountable. So anything generally goes.
I know there used to be some standards or honor code on using uniques/rares from PK. Most of us like to follow it becuase we worked together to achieve it. Then there are the clowns who knew this wasn't solid/punishable by another player so they and their friends would do as they please.

Watchers ask us players to make it a better game but players can't control/punish players from being asshats over simple dung. Especially when we don't have character/log/time stamp proof.

Anything goes. Do what you want to have fun. Especially if it involves pissing off and ruining other players game play. It's not like this is a themed mud with culture or multi-user dungeon meant for multiple players to come together to play.

And I'm sure this and previous posts will be deleted in short time. Can't swallow the truth when it hurts.

Not so much a hippy plea as petulant cynicism if you ask me! I see plenty of cases of people still acting in the best way for gameplay, in many ways I think this has almost improved of late because a lot of people take the text-wealth not as seriously! There's still incidents of people doing lame stuff, but I really think they're way less often than your post implies.

Just yesterday a bunch of trolls couldn't give away a pristine heron because there was nobody on who used it! Nobody suggested nabbing it for alts or anything, they just waited and eventually gave it away for a fade who could use it.

Never understood why trolls don't use herons etc and generally it has to go to a fade. Fk fades lol. They got it cakewalk already. One reason I hate ds. Hey I'm a super over bonused char. You gotta give that to me so I can be more leetz. Guess it's the attitude attached to being a remort and expecting it. That's annoying as fk. I've always been a fair split person. I should put in its not limited to remorts or one side. Generally it's player based mostly. There's a lot of tools who think there gods gift to the game. I hate that attitude of well hey I'm a master or led or high ranking etc so I'm taking it. I have just seen it the most on DS is all.

That particular ideology is that the most able to use it should use it, at the will of the senior DA involved. But after that, its whoever wants it.

I personally think it's a decent mindset alternate from LS and if you are for that then have fun on DS.

At that point however, the senior DS, likely a fade again, just takes it for spare because us fun loving trolls are abs and undeserving. Chits and rares flow this way too as extra and just goto the fade despite your participation or desire.

I dont knot squat about that heron thing talked about above, and probably neither do most of you. So take my advise: don't let the door hit you on the way out if DS is such a bother to your frail souls..
