Well you see Lansin, it is fast as lightning.

Re: Ouch! That really did HURT!
I was nearly full hp. Hit to make sure the others got clear.
Re: Ouch! That really did HURT!
If you haven't used it as a wilder - you should give it a try sometime. Its so amazing that it will give you hypertension and tourette syndrome.
You momentarily feel like you have the powers of a God except the people you are fighting know it too and they mostly won't engage you unless you give them concessions.
-Sometimes its natural and it goes all the way from winding to gap to blight and you are just praying someone with a low understanding of game mechanics would like to stand still and fight back. And it normally doesn't happen.
-Sometimes you burn sps to make it and the second the tick ends it turns off, which is usually right when the spell was about to cast on someone.
-Often - if your opponent is actually willing to fight you with zing it means you have more opponents then you could ever wish for
-If you are a wilder thinking you're going to pull a fast one on some dreadlord - guess what, dreadlords love it too.
-Waiting 1 room into a zone so the other person can't see you making it can be helpful - except some rogue will often scout you doing it.
-The classic hilarious screw up is to make it right before you hit trolls at a patrol - and then someone delays hitting and the trolls just bug out before you can hit them.
I'm not commenting on its balance. I'm just telling you there's a reason you don't see "that" many zing logs.

Re: Ouch! That really did HURT!
Zing has always been super dumb. 120-150hp in a spell that’s about 11 pulses long is insane, even if you have the caveat of needing specific weather conditions.
Two options:
1. Timer remains the same and it does less damage
Or
2. Damage remains the same, timer increased to the same as fireball/ice spike.
The weather condition doesn’t really justify being able to ponr call lightning against someone using flame strike because of link difference/lag with the timers being so close, on top of the insane amount of damage output it provides.

Re: Ouch! That really did HURT!
The weather changes only made matters worse, causing natural lightning conditions a lot more often than pre-changes.
Re: Ouch! That really did HURT!
getting bashed solo at the patty vs 3 (you left and entered room -- you should've noticed that you were the only LS in that room when you came back in) doesn't help things, either.
and fleeing right before the bash timer finishes is the worst time to do it. Would recommend just change mood wimpy and pray for auto flee to save you once you are at that point, or finishing the bash timer and then fleeing if you are feeling brave. A bash timer during flee lag is generally a worst case scenario.
Re: Ouch! That really did HURT!
Was a 2 vs 6 we lost badly. I was low and Rakkard was low. We got a third and hit. If everyone didn't panic cry and flee for their lives(At healthy). Ya probably would have been fine. I was getting hit unbashed and bashed easily enough by everyone 65% of the time.
