Think you guys are overthinking this. Just put a patty of moderate strength that loads a decaying key to open the door. Don't allow cross race to open door without the key.

The fact that most of you are going on about me dying and I shouldn't be 100% safe is ignoring why I posted in the first place. I don't care that I died. I don't care they were open the door manually after it was closed manually. All gates are the same way. My complaint was that a cross-race, gibberish speaking trolloc, was able to say open door, and my very human (not a df?) clan mob opened the door for him. I didn't spam it shut because I didn't think they could open it and it would of taken forever to melee him down with just the 1 mob who couldn't even break his defense. I smiled because the first thing he said I assumed was something along the lines of "well firetruck" or the other. The second time he said something the door opened.
It should NOT be about the person who is in their fortified, heavily defended fortress taking the risk of going into a door that only someone of the clan can open from the outside. It should be about the person assaulting the said fortress taking a bigger risk by chasing into a door that they should honestly have 0 way of opening. Load a key on a mob in there. Otherwise what's the point of the door? Codpiece says so we are 100% safe in there. I thought the point of the door was to get others out of our Quartermaster room so it doesn't get killed. Just like people complained about ghar qm being killed before. There is 1 mob that aggros/assists in that room, and it's honestly not strong. Other mobs can randomly walk in if the door is open but I know I for one am not going to waste my time sitting 1s of the door and spamming it open hoping a random mob walks into it.
If you want cross-race to be able to open the door from the inside then make a sconce or something else that is realistic instead of a Veteran Borderguard taking orders from a trolloc who is killing another Borderguard in front of them. I could see if a fade was saying it because then it could actually be understood. Still very unlikely that the Borderguard would open the door for them. Monsoon wants to point out that I "run in there every pk", and that they planned ahead this time for it (highly unlikely.) When you fight trollocs blight, do they not run into a mobol locking door in akkad that you need a key to open if you're not a dhavol (just saw they added a jump 1u akkad, good add imo)? Or Stonegate.. trollocs sure aren't opening the gate whenever I call it. Besides the countless other ways for people to "be 100% safe" in pk.
Clan rooms are meant for the clan. Isn't that why there is a mobol that only members of said clan can do to ENTER the door? Remove the door entirely if you are just going to let anyone be able to walk out after CHOOSING to attack someone inside of it. They can just as easily close the door themselves once they are inside to be able to spam it open/close. Again I really don't care that I died. It was the way it happened. I know that only a select few people on this game actually tolerate/like me. Most of you seem to take 99% of what I say as me whining when it's really not. Grow up and move on. I did. Stop looking at it from a personal view and look at it from a mechanics/roleplay/gameplay view.

To be fair Dixon’s last post sums this up. It’s a game so it is unrealistic. But this was pretty dumb. Load a key on the mob. If someone chases inside that’s there fault/choice. The way it is presently is beyond stupid. You don’t need a much simpler explanation then Dixon’s. Trollocs should never be able to open a door by speaking to a LS mob. That’s the only part that is dumb here. Or just remove the door.

I'm sorry, but all of the suggestions people are making are worse than the current reality.
Here's the current situation.
The door is 100% safe if you get into it alone and don't open it to let your enemy in.
If you let someone in - that's on you and if they kill you they can get out.
That's 100% better than anything anyone has suggested with keys and moderate patrols to kill and what not.
How do people not read this and think - man, I want to kill some guy in his clan room and escape.
How is - I killed some guy in his clan room and then I got stuck inside and died to mobs better. Its not.
Make changes that build a game that people would want to play.
Doors like this should have a few mobs inside (to prevent easy rent camping). Or 1 strong mob that is like level 51+ with a 2-fisted flamberge.
They should have a predictable command to get out for everyone. This should be something anyone can trigger.
Ideally, the entrances should not be right next to a cityhead type mob. ie. Far Madding's clan rent/Blarg.
If we put like 5 elite mobs in that door we'll probably have Matheus trying to lure trolls into the door.

All non-mobol enterable clan rooms that have a locking door have the option for cross-race to say exit/open/whatever the command is inside a locked clanroom door (exception being akkad) so that they people aren't essentially stuck in there. In today's game, going into an inescapable clan-door can easily turn into "hey xxx killed me in clan rooms, log on and kill him real quick" and that's pretty annoying and stupid.
In the end, Eol is very correct, and I find myself agreeing with Eol on very seldom occasions! It's also one of the basic rules of pk, don't go into a door unless you want to get doored.

This whole thing is laughable considering the recent post about warrants for cross race equipment return. That he can growl "exit" or "open door" in trolloc tongues and a BORDERGUARD opens the door for him is insanity.
There needs to be a solution that matches roleplay. The solution, if you really want someone to be able to get out, is to make a mobol command that can only be entered when the subject is not engaged and does not have no quit. Push through door or some such. The player would step back, kneel down and line up with the door, then run at it and push his way through. After going through these three lines of room echo, it would teleport the player outside of the locked door. So the door would never open again, or close. No one could use it cross race to let others in.

You guys make this dung so obnoxiously complicated. If you have issues with the language thing, just make it a sconce. I'm sure it'll make somebody feel better to take the time to arrive at the same conclusion.

Nobody enters the door if you don't open the door in the middle of PK. That door opened from the outside because of your CHOOSING to use it to try to get out of PK. It's sort of the height of entitlement to shift more onus on the guy chasing you into a door, inside a keep, inside a city because you walked into door that makes you safe if it gets a chance to close, instead of Uno or Agelmar or something.Clan rooms are meant for the clan. Again with the jumping to conclusions. I didn't open it to try and get out of pk. I thought I said this already but might of not posted since I've deleted a few responses ive had to certain individuals. Codpiece was chasing faster then the others and I knew he'd chase me in. I CHOSE to go in yes. I wouldn't have if I knew a trolloc could open it. I could have just of easily ran into barracks, which they can probably also open from inside. Or I could of ran out or jumped. Only thing that was stopping me from doing that would of been them spamming at 4n crossing. But once again you are choosing the personal route. I'm pretty sure I also mentioned putting a sconce, or key, or removing the door.
