There's literally voice pk channels on the wotmud discord. I don't know why I wouldn't use it. 90% of the time I'm in voice with someone on the game just shooting dung and talking about things. It's a very open source tool that literally everyone can take advantage of.

Jestin is just angry I refuse to voice chat with him for Starcraft II. Have you heard his voice? Its like high pitched McLovin from Superbad. I still <3 him though.

FYI - the log against Taz.
My problem there (and in most of my recent deaths) was zerking.
I didn't NEED to zerk, that setup doesn't require zerking or excel with it, and if I were going to zerk, it should be at a moment when I don't open up to opportunities like that (i.e. when the zerk bash will kill him instead of..not killing him).
The fact that Taz stayed and pk'd solo, and had started zerking himself (admittedly when he thought the bash would kill me) meant I was happy to take the risk because it was fun. I'm also happy taking these kind of risks because he's not a dick about it (not in respect to eq returns, just generally, you give a good fight and he'll say so, you give a dung fight and he might say so).
Also all of Taz's pk that day was weird, I was just happy that he started fighting.

We shouldn't demand how 5 (or more) players play. Yes it sucks being on the other side. I don't get why they don't split evenly, consistently, across races if they want pk, because what we get when they play one side just isn't really pk imo. Jaster used to complain that the others wouldn't play on the opposite race to him, Fiddler I figure we'll see where he's at now but I expect similar action, Rig will play both, but he bitches and whines even more if they don't play with him. Razhak (not one of the 5), I don't think any of you are objective about. He's got specific rules that he doesn't break for the sake of giving good pk as far as I can tell. Most of his points I agree with, horse bash when a solo person is staying vs numbers that should mean an automatic death is something to be frustrated about.
I don't think it's really possible, or worth, policing voice chat, beyond having a specific rule that sharing information cross race is punishable.
You guys want to enjoy the game. You do enjoy the game, but really what is it you enjoy here? I love balanced pk, with the occasional whitewash. What we get to see is you guys just slaughtering every time you log on en mass. And by all means if you were itching for pk (like when we would get loads of darkies on), and go hit in cities that can still work. But you're on voice chat. And some of you are firetrucking wimpy about taking risks, and that holds the rest of you back. So you can instead sit around and very fine person, gender being but a construct of society until the next solo LSer gets bored, or logs on and walks out of city, and whitewash. Yay. When the outcome of a given situation is a 99% that xxx dies. Not 50%, not 20%, not even a 1% chance that that person fights in any meaningful way. I don't see the point to doing it consistently. Because it does drive people away. But that's something for you guys to think about.

I have to play unknown alts to fight Jaster/Zangief/Fiddler because anytime I'm on some known alt and fighting them leading a group and someone dies it's "collusion" and how dare I even log on.

So yea, you guys suck to pk with because any attempt I make to even the odds has some sort of ill intent behind the scenes. That's something for you guys to think about.

I play to enjoy time with the friends I have, considering the timezone differences I might get to play with 1 or 2 of them during the week and the occasional saturday afternoon session with more than that.

-It's never helped anything on this game to scream at each other for being pussies or pieces of dung, or whatever other term of endearment is trending at the time. Let's be cool and figure out how to get what we all want, which is an expectation to have some fun and competition when we log on. It's never worked to roll on people with your bonused alts and then complain that no one will fight you.

-I think Anansi is right - some of the resentment for the cancer bois is they're a core group of friends hanging out together and getting things done. The core group of friends that, for years, I was PKing with and could absolutely depend on, is largely gone. It was a ton of fun for years. I certainly miss that. I'm sure Fermin does too.

-For me, as someone that largely gets along with them and has had solid PK with and against, the problem is usually a basic mathematical one. If three people alt from one side to another, that's not a differential of 3, it's a differential of 6. PK is usually too sensitive to deal with that large of a swing in numbers.

-But that wouldn't matter if PK numbers were as reliable as they were even five years ago. The best solution isn't that the cancer bois stop logging on together, it's repeating the pattern of groups of 4-5 people that will log on at the same time and make things happen.

-Fermin's a solid player and someone that keeps PK going against the odds. It makes me sad to see him turn into a salt lord over the last two years, but I'm also much more willing than he is to leave a situation that I think is dumb.

-Davor should probably be declanned. He randomly AFKs or zerks too much for me to rely on him anymore. He also drains Taleena while she heals herself in FD.
