You could say the same about the 15 extra Hps. It's a Warder Pro, but theoretically negligible. Fade shirt, being issuable trumps Ornate shirts lying around in rents. The option to be able to Poison all your opponents passively, is amazing and "everyone being aware of inkies" is like saying "everyone being aware of bonded gaidin who's sedai's aren't online.." It's a strong passive ability to be smart but can't be a requirement for comparing bonuses.

In a PK setting, a fade played to the best of its abilities would win versus a warder played to the best of its abilities.

Would there be variations to this result? Of course! Skill and chance and all that. But in the long run, Fades would win over Warders more often than not.

I think you're being a bit dramatic over your "cons"...

Fade isn't an eject button anymore - Fade not having something isn't a con, otherwise we can add a whole slew of things to both classes.
Compel, Fear and Target switch being based on DPS - is like saying channies having weaves is actually a con because it costs sps.
Sole target of channelers in PK - I don't think you can count player based behavior as a con, the same thing happens to Gaidin or anyone leading a group, you strategically choose who to remove first.
Its not dramatic at all and comparing that to a channeler is ignorant. Considering we lose the ability to use all of those abilities that I just mentioned (besides fade and compel which stop working when you run out of dps) at about half of your dps.

fades being able to issue the shirts is nice, but doesn't make them better than a gaidin who also has the shirt. I'd take the regen over fear any day.

Worth pointing out, for the effort of being a fade, you could be a r8 19 19 19 gaidin.

You can talk about skill all you want, but every single fade that has a warder is easier to kill on their warder. Hands down, no question. This especially includes warders that play regularly with their Sedai. The point being that using your warder bonuses actually comes with significant risks, in a way that it never does for fades.

Balance is much better after moblead was nerfed. I don't feel as much need to talk about how handheld fades are, but it's funny seeing how many still act like a persecuted minority.

i just want to know why when we win a low hp fight, LS should be the one to lose either a player, or a set that they won, or a set that they were wearing and a player/s, all because you loot corpse as is your right after killing someone.

low/close fights are the best parts of pk - equipment/scalps are the spoils of war. If this is a thing then make it go both ways, make everybody's equipment contagion/drain hps for whoever loots. i guess that's one great way to keep pk going since everybody will get their eq back.

/annoyed enough to post when i know it's pointless to post here :P

Survivability and power are different. But without fade and moblead, It's a lot closer now between regen and rsneak. And in terms of power, regen is definitely better.

The actual whining here was done by people who think fades are super OP simply because the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.

So, my take away from this is that Surtain feels that the Gaidin HP Regen bonus makes Warders more powerful than Fades.

I can live with that. I don't agree with it, but that's ok. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I think everyone else can make up there own mind from the information given and if anyone can come up with new arguments with facts and not feelings, then I'd be glad to be persuaded to see things differently. In an effort to derail the thread less, I would be open to receiving personal messages and would enjoy the chance to share ideas about the matter.

Thank you everyone for indulging my curiosity.

And the hps, ob, multibash. Gaidin bonuses are all about offense. I would have said fade bonuses were more about maneuverability, but with the nerfing of fade, I'm less certain.

Surtain must be so bored of playing his fade and master Gaidin that he spends his time sitting at the Warder Yard where he formerly apprenticed, deep in thought. I like this guy.
