is there any variation to this refarin?
Re: is there any variation to this refarin?
QPs are QPs and there is really one way to get a lot of them, scalp collecting. It is pretty much the only way to get bonuses...

Oh yeah, I didn't mean I wish you had kept it 1v1 or something. The mob use comment was just a small observation that at hurt/wound if you had fallen to a mob or two, then our hps would have been more even, and if Chomper shows when we're around batt/batt, it makes sense for me to fall back to Stedding and fight you two. If in stedding it's beat/beat /wound or so for the three of us and Razhak shows, it makes sense for me to fall back to FD/dusty, grab a tic or two to batt and try to fight you guys dusty. But at hurt/crit or whatever it was, would you and healthy chomper follow me to fight at stedding (my closest mob support - not counting SG as an abser)? So the pk incentive is to stay keep zone (unless I chose to fall back anyway and potentially the pk ends there), which then becomes overcommitted as soon as Razhak shows up in that zone then and it turns into block / chase and from my end get out of there/run in. At that point (since then I'm down to 10 hps or w/e), to keep the pk going where I can actually fight, the 3 of you would have needed to stay dusty for at least 2 maybe 3 tics.rawiswar wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 11:04 amI was annoyed at Chomper for coming when you were already basically dead vs. me and one other at heart the time before this, but people aren't obligated to control PK numbers when you're hitting scouts, ratting/ravening, and getting flocked all over the place. What people can control includes not just going in low crit in abs (thereby giving you at least a shot to finish), not group, and hit you at mobs when you go there. All things that we've done at some time or another when you come up. You look for PK, you find it, you not being able to handle 2-3 mostly non-masters even using mob support is more a function of your choice to be abs than anything else. If you want to run around solo in unfriendly territory and keep fights going against multiple, you'd definitely be better off in combo. In abs, mobs only help so much after awhile. Was wishing R guy had just used mobs in N RK or blight zone instead of hwo it played out.
So anyway those are small choices and the (relatively) 'smaller' the new variables are, the more it can keep going.

It's actually more a reflection of ragan and treesinger they're desparation fallback points of terrible design for "promoting pk". You could make ragan track in gap zone and it would be 100x better for both sides than a static dead end.
Going treesinger is never a pk option, it's either my horse needs mvs so i can bail, I have backup coming, or it's I'm fucked this is a last resort option.
The other log you have to see from the other side as well, people often ditch what they're doing to go save a comrade. Often this means they have no mvs, all they're doing is stopping their friend from dying.
I'm sure often dark is wondering why humans didn't chase at various times down south as well, it's exactly the same constraints of movements and hagg horses, it's unfortunate for balance that someone was stupid enough to give fades refresh.
