We have a list of "Watch out" situations called the "Watch outs" in wildland firefighting. Thought it would be entertaining to change the terminology a bit and adapt it to "PK Watch outs". Basically if you identify a watch out, you address and reassess the watch out situation until the watch out is mitigated if possible. This obviously segue's into risk vs reward which is pretty self explainable.
Could obviously build on this but I didn't spend too much time on it, posting more for entertainment.
- Enemy group not scouted and sized up
Unfamiliar with zone
Regroups and escape routes not identified
Unfamiliar with weather/time of day
Uninformed regarding strategy, tactics, and hazards
Instructions and priorities are not clear
No communication with your leader
Attacking group at patrol
Leaving the group to chase solo
Not sure where enemy group is and not in communication with someone who knows
Weather is getting hotter and drier and or colder
Multiple group members solo chasing
Chokes and 2-exit rooms make escape to safety zone difficult
Going afk during pk
No vial
No water/food
No-ride exit rooms

My personal one: if a big group hasn't hit my small group, it's usually because their group is about to get even bigger.
