Why is this going this far lol. I died because I chose to try dodge for once. I posted because I thought it was funny. I know it wasn't a super kit. I think dodge sucks. I know Kendall and hope and rod always run around together and come when I'm low. There was nothing that surprised me. I posted, said my bit and that's that :p Not sure why I'm getting lessons on all this when it's not anything new to me. And yes hope I know there's no such thing as a fair fight. To a very select few there is. There are a few of us that like to have fun and not just kill at all costs you know. Anyways que this being locked I'm sure :p

Just the nature of the beast, Jumaro. You post here and everyone will tell you how you're playing your char wrong and how they would play it so much better (including me, probably :)).
Pretty sure I do everything that Nance or whoever said not to do and I've played dodge successfully across several top tier chars exclusively for years. A few db isnt going to suddenly make dodge unplayable or suddenly make you invincible. I also always use 15+ lb weapons. You just need to wrap your head around the fact that dodge is the most volatile setup out there; sometimes it is amazing and sometimes its terrible.

Lol this place is so passive aggressive. (Not you.) Dodge sucks yes but you also made your life far worse by being mounted and carrying random things kek and your sword really has nothing to do with it but pale steels suck maaaan!!!! Essentially you don't want to play dodge on LS unless you're dism all the time because mounted db is kinda unplayable let's be honest like not that I even play anymore but lol combo is boring and everyone should play dodge regardless of how much it sucks because it's so swingy, it's the most funnest setup of all and honestly I think it has more potential than combo like you can 1v6 in dodge but not in combo even though you can by the same token eat a bash in combo with 3 people on you and eat like 2 damage :PJumaro wrote:Why is this going this far lol. Doesn't look that bad, my opinion, as you got him quite lowish while starting the fight at wounded.
I've never been a fan of pale steel as one-handed weapon but I always had weird weapons choices so ... ;-)
As for bashing or getting bashed, I bashed comboers with Sungwood/BF staff, db flail and even, Gilted Shamboks(sometimes).
My personal choice but if I opt for dodge I opt axes > swords (finaly crafted for high ob) or multi-hit (<3 whips) and of course 2-handed staves.
I've never been a fan of pale steel as one-handed weapon but I always had weird weapons choices so ... ;-)

hmm, im gonna go with Nidwin.. that fight went great for you, considering you stood there toe to toe with someone in dodge.
Not sure exactly what you expect. You want him to miss more bashes? if your untouchable that wouldent be good either, so basiccly you want him to land enough bashes to make his frags do equally damage to your hits.
You realize how impossible that would be to balance? specially considering you are in 127db, if that was balanced, ,what would happend to people running around with 143db.
I was around when Talar and Onyx ran round and parried 5 people while bashed, trust me that wasent fun either.
This combo playstyle has fooled everyone, you cant just stand there in dodge waiting to eat bash because it will happend.
Either you do what Kyr does. Offense, bash crazy time it, reenter etc.. make him not able to land bash after bash on you.
OR go what Rig said, play very very defensive and rely on something else to get kills, weaves, stab.
