The road plods on to the south towards a large hill and bends to the north
to avoid a sharp incline. A dark forest shadows the road to the east. The
forest once extended into these rolling hills, but large fires seem to have
cleared the area leaving only small saplings struggling to survive. It
would not take much more than a smouldering cinder to set off a massive
forest fire in the surrounding area.

Pine trees are in abundance here, littering the ground with needles and cones.
Birds are chirping and small animal tracks can be seen all over the ground. The
light forest continues to the north, and a small clearing is visible toward the
west. A small path is also visible in the east, but thorny brambles make it
impossible to reach from here. To the south the forest continues, yet somehow
it seems quieter and ominous there.

a small, ruined hovel in the west. Chest high grass makes walking difficult and
almost obscures the hovel. Maybe this clearing was originally part of a farm or

This old building has been unattended for a long time. This is quite obvious
from the state of the walls and roof. The roof looks like it would let more
weather in than it would keep out, judging by the missing shingles. The
walls are sagging badly, and to the north, the wall is half collapsed, forming
an exit into the forest. Surprisingly, the stone fireplace and chimney at the
western side of the building look to be in very good condition.

Far in the Braem Wood
There are some especially dense oak-trees in this place, and thus little
grows on the forest floor except clumps of grass here and there. Some of
the bark has fallen off the trees and has rotted, creating a natural path
of sorts. The Braem Wood is to your south and west, whilst low branches
make progress north impossible. There is more forest to the east.

light forest continues to the north, and a small clearing is visible toward the
west. A small path is also visible in the east, but thorny brambles make it
impossible to reach from here. To the south the forest continues, yet somehow
it seems quieter and ominous there.

As we like a bit of background; Ghast had been playing with some humans around TV with the assistance of Teveyl and Axxye. Alas the humans got a few and got Ghast low, he ran north a while me and Byrg headed south. We had a bit of a dust-up, got Ryktor crit and humans fled BGs, this is where our log kicks in;
