If I have chasers around that cave, I'll go in and come back out for a stab most of the time. Would of died I think if I brick there.

Knowing its a dismount and most lead horses through there, I can get a stab off when people aren't paying attention. :)

Just ahead is the large trunk of a fallen tree. Luckily for travelers, the tree
fell across the river. Care must be taken in crossing the log, for the unwary
may slip on the various mosses growing on the tree, and be dumped into the icy
river. North is a trail through the forest bordered by vines and thorn bushes.
South the trail continues then branches in three directions.

A handsome stag stands here, ready to run.

* S HP:Beaten MV:Weary > Following the Trail
The trail straightens out as it runs past a wall of thorns and vines on either
side. Though the trees block out the sky, the faint smell of woodsmoke is
drifting from the southeast. Southward lies a river winding its way westward
while north the trail continues among the giant trees.

A spotted jaguar opens its eyes lazily.

The trail weaves and winds as it follows the easiest path amongst the
giant trunks. Dry leaves and twigs crinkle underfoot and the underbrush
closes back in once past.

The large dark wolf slinks here, eyes filled with an animal cunning.

The forest thins out in a great circle of cleared trees and underbrush.
Someone has been chopping wood here among the smaller trees. A faint trail,
little more than an animal path, leads off between some huge oaks towards
the east.

The large dark wolf slinks here, eyes filled with an animal cunning.

A larger path leads both south and to the east. It is dark here where the trees
grow so close together. Thorny bushes continue to block the way north. South the
trees open up into a clearing. A few piles of chopped wood and wood chips
scattered about show that someone does live within these dense woods.

An elderly man weighed down by years of toil struggles onwards.

The trees loom high overhead, rustling branches and leaves merging with the
sounds of birds to form a woodland symphony. Only the breaking of twigs
underfoot disrupts the natural sounds of the forest. The path continues west
into more dark forest.

Towering trees dwarf the ruins of a once proud manor to the north.
Destroyed years ago by accident or by the wars which wracked these lands,
it now waits as the forest slowly reclaims it. Even now its ivy-covered
walls are hard to spot through the trees and only white stones poke through
the undergrowth like bones.

The ancient walls are choked with creeper vines and poison ivy. Slowly the
forest reclaims its own grounds. Much of the east side of the manor has
crumbled. Birds take flight from the rafters as you enter.

hedge of coarse thistle and stinkweed, grows north of the trail. Moving
farther east on the trail there are white stones visible through the trees.

Here deep in the forest grows a whole stand of the rare giantsbroom tree. The
trunks rise a pace into the air, then split into many branches, the branches
rise straight into the air before splitting into many tiny branches with leafy
brush topping it. It is reminiscent of the broom a goodwife uses to sweep,
though much larger, hence the name. There are a number of these stands
scattered here. A song birds nest is nestled among the branches.

Tiny yellow flowers are growing upon stalks here.

Opening Within the Forest
The trees open up a bit more here, allowing more brush to grow. A path
leads north where you can push your way through the ivy. West is a large
mound with more bushes growing atop it. Southward the forest grows thicker,
darkening the path. The sounds of animals echo all around the forest, yet
they are seldom visable. The gaps through the trees make this an excellent
spot from which to watch the activities in the area.

Within the Forest
An animal run starts here, leading deeper into the forest. Tall trees rise all
around with some light filtering through the spreading branches, allowing the
undergrowth to run wild. Because of the profusion of vines and thornbushes the
path only goes east to the forests edge or west deeper into the forest. Birds
of all types flit through the trees, singing loudly.

You notice a mirrored lantern is hidden here.

There is the dim sight of sky farther to the west and the a small breeze
filters its way into the cave. The river makes a sharp turn south here, but the
opening is too small to follow. In this part of the cave, vines of quartz
ripple across the walls, reflecting the dim light from outside. You can see
clearly here the stalactites jutting from the ceiling here and the source of
the dripping water has been found on the southern face of the cave as a trickle
of water comes down from a crack above.
