Although the edge of the blight is not far to the south, the sickly yellow
has almost completely obscured the healthy land here. The air is foul and
ripe, yet sweet. All around you are sickly and broken trees with black and

Inside the gate there is a small yard where the ground is paved with big,
flat stones. To the east a monastery is situated. Although it has been
deserted for many years, the monastery spreads the feeling of not being
alone here. To the north there are some remains of the the monks' orchard,
to the south there looks to be some sort of burial site and there is a gate
to the west.

other trees, they form giant wood gates reinforced with stone at the foot.
Passing these giant gates to the west might prove a little too hard. To the
north and east the forest goes on, and to the south is a sloping hill.

A large field stretches out before one's eyes. All the trees have been cut
down and in their place stumps are standing. There are no signs of the
trees, so the lumber must have been taken away by someone, probebly the
same someone that cut them down. Long, dragging marks in the soil go on far

Entering the Gap
Here, just before the gap, the sheer granite that makes the sides of the gap
tower over this spot. The Blight lies to the north, awaiting more victims,

around the gap can be seen to the east and west.

creeping towards you. It would not take much more than a smouldering cinder
to set off a massive forest fire in the surrounding area.

Hrm, think same as the other post would be work on dlines and zone knowledge. Gap can be a tough spot to get caught and you can easily get turned around, but if you knew you were 1n bush when we engaged you, the doubleline should be "flee+east+north". This either puts you in the direction of Lockshear if you get the south flee, or if you get a north flee, you lose one command to the incorrect "east" command, but then get north command. We were probably spamming kill dark, so you likely had a couple commands headstart. When we engaged you 1n otg, you dlined north, this time you did get an east flee, so it put you e n, but if you had gotten a south flee you'd ended up back in our room. Granted from ptg it is only a 1/4 chance of dlining back into us and it can be brutal to be caught OTG - but something to keep in mind going forward, safe dlines, less risky dlines and bad dlines.
Another point is careful of entering too many commands after your dline, you ended up "misspamming" at 2n 1e of otg, since you had some extra north commands in there. When dlining it is also important to factor in the desired flee and the less desired flees. Say for example you got a west or a north flee, then the extra north commands are okay, but if you added a west command after your 2 north commands you'd have a better shot. If you had gotten a west flee your 2 north commands would put you at 1n fhills, and a west command 1s of orch ent - thats pretty decent, no commands lost to misspam. Same if you'd gotten a north flee, would've put you at 2e orch ent and the west command would've taken you to 1e orch ent - also pretty good no misspams. And in case you get the east flee, your commands would put you back to 2n otg and you're ready to take off. Granted, people will likely try to anticipate your dline, so they would likely just move to 1n straight away after seeing you flee east(which is what I did, but alas link is not too bueno so didn't catch you), so you could also just sit in the room you ended up in (e n) and wait for us to hit you. That room has good dlines and you'd likely have a good shot at making it away, depending on zone knowledge and your link.

As for running, it looks like you just need to practice the zone more. Shouldn't misspam from all n gap. Dline north from 2s downer isn't safe. Having autowimpy on in abs when low can also really mess up your spams too. In the end, it's 2 masters chasing down an abser. If you panic and don't know your spams, you're probably dead unless they hit aggro town.
On another major note, don't fight chargers in easy to dline rooms like 1w ptg. They're just hoping that you roll a bash and disengage for an easy blick. Same thing with stabbers.

Autowimpy in ABS in general is rarely a good idea, unless you have a spotty link and keep it on to avoid mobdying if you go unflagged LD. Learn to gauge your HPs by the magnitude of the hits as you get low, and it can go a long way.
As far as one thing that was not yet mentioned, knowledge is key in PK, in particular knowing what you are up against. You went mid gap not knowing who the second person was after the second horse showed up while already beaten. With Cowl a stabber and you that low, there was almost no good situation chasing into the extra person there. It would have turned ugly a lot faster had it been a channeler, for example. Accept that he got south ahead of you, and then wait and regroup so you don't end up in a situation like you did, having to run and getting chased down.
As far as one thing that was not yet mentioned, knowledge is key in PK, in particular knowing what you are up against.
