Re: Apex Legends
I'm only 106 hours into the game, but yeah, it's pretty fun. Respawn seems to be responding to issues pretty quickly too, so looking forward to season 1.
It's a free-to-play, squad based Battle Royale set in the Titanfall universe without mechs. The monetization loot box system system kinda sucks, but if you're not worried about cosmetics, you're not missing out. I had 0 interest in playing Fortnite or PUBG, but this one has been surprisingly fun.briana wrote:well. what is it

Re: Apex Legends
well i did love playing titanfall for ps4..

Re: Apex Legends
It feels a lot like Fortnite, but less stupid. Very fun but pretty hard (I suck). Would team up if anyone on here has a PS4. Name is The_White_Blight if interested.
Re: Apex Legends
If you're trying to improve/win, I would recommend picking 2-3 weapons and only using them until you get really comfortable with their recoil. F the peacekeeper. Learn to hipfire the Eva-8 instead for a more consistent weapon. I personally run R-99/R-301/Hemlock/Spitfire with an Eva-8, in that order. If you land in the first circle, leave it as soon as reasonably possible. If you're running the perimeter and get into a fight, prepare to be 3rd partied if it takes more than a minute to kill the enemy squad. If you get in a fight in the circle, prepare to get 3rd, 4th, and 5th partied.Carter wrote:It feels a lot like Fortnite, but less stupid. Very fun but pretty hard (I suck). Then just spend a day hot dropping into Skull Town, Market, and the blue zone to learn controlled chaos with crap weapons. You'll die a lot and piss off the occasional person, but do better when 2 other squads drop onto you in a random zone. Oh, and stick to small legends. I had to play so differently trying to get 20k damage on Caustic and don't have the heart to finish it on Gibraltar.
Of course, there's always the RNG of teammates in solo queue. Sometimes you just have to follow your dumbass teammates and hope for the best. Looking back, I've actually had ~5 of my 25 or so wins while missing a teammate or solo. Probably because we were forced to be conservative and engage the last 2 parties at the right time.
Re: Apex Legends
Awesome advice, and greatly appreciate it. I don't understand 'small legends' comment since I don't see that as an option anywhere. I've mostly been trying to get the feel for the characters so far. Bloodhound has helped since you can see enemies through walls and such, but haven't ventured further than him too often. I've been trying to learn the guns so i have an idea on what the hell i just picked up, or if something laying on the ground is better than what I'm currently holding. The Eva-8 is the only reason I've earned any close-quarter kills so far, so that's certainly on my keeper list.Landon wrote: .
Re: Apex Legends
You have piqued my interest. I love titanfall
Edit: after some small research ... its a free to play game. Id rather just buy a game outright. Yes i realise the irony.
