Rosamund Pike! Wow! Too tall, but good one!

Agree about her height, but a marvelous actress who I think will do a great job!Raya wrote:Rosamund Pike! Wow! Too tall, but good one!

Gives me hope this might be a pretty good series!
Re: WoT show to begin production this Fall!
I'm going to disagree. Rosamund Pike is an 'okay' actress, but I've never seen her display the screen presence to pull off this particular character. On top of that, she's a good half a foot too tall, and if they're going to ignore fundamental details like that, it doesn't say good things to me.

Eh height doesn't matter imo. Good editing will take care of that
Re: WoT show to begin production this Fall!
I think she will be perfect. The height can easily be masked on screen. Happens all the time.

It's a good thing they found all those really short actors to be hobbits and dwarves in LOTR.Etain wrote:I'm going to disagree. How hard would it have been to find a dark-haired actress who's four to six inches shorter, though? It's not so much the incorrect height that bothers me as the laziness.
Besides, that's not even my issue. There are plenty of roles that would have fit her in Wheel of Time. I just don't think Moiraine is one of them. Color me disappointed.

Thank god no one in GoT dyed/changed their hair for the show. Would have ruined it.Etain wrote:How hard would it have been to find a dark-haired actress who's four to six inches shorter, though? It's not so much the incorrect height that bothers me as the laziness.
