There's a fan theory I read a bit ago that they're completely rewriting the story with Egwene as the dragon reborn...somehow. No idea how that would work but this trailer didnt do anything to discourage it, I think. Im assuming theyre just making it a bigger unknown for new viewers rather than us being relatively sure its Rand early on in the books, but its still funny. And I could definitely see them actually doing it, which would also be hilarious to me.
It'd be kinda weird to see Rand as the Amyrlin for the all-female white tower.

The trailer looks so good. Not sure how I feel about the Dragon possibly being a woman… but otherwise so good

I loved it. It set a lot of my...skepticism? at ease. Still a little worried about Rand just because he's such a foundational character that he really needs to be Rosamund Pike-level to deliver. Rosamund is so amazing, the rest could all be crap and I'd still watch it and not be too upset. She did a call-in to the Dusty Wheel stream today that made me tear up lol. But I'm sure he'll be great! And if he isn't, he might just be a side character anyways so who cares :p

How about them whitecloaks, though??? Eamon Valda. So fking good. Hands-down my favorite change/adaptation so far.

The explanations and reasonings for why theyre doing things how they are go a long ways, imo. Can't wait for Nov 19th!

Love that the Whitecloaks are a true threat to the Tower. A live Yellow burning at the stake, Eamon Valda collecting serpent rings? Wow!.

Yup, i had some concerns it might be young adult themed but the clip put that to rest!
Valda- i instantly hated and found sinister so that worked

The Aiel looked perfect from the brief view

Fal dara didnt look how i picture it from the books, but it definitely works

I watched the actors discussing their roles, and in my opinion they...get it

Oh i think the Egwene being the DR thing is just misdirection by the way.

That would be really funny for fans of the books if Rand went down as a very successful insane false dragon and Egwene was the real deal. I wouldn’t really mind it.

Yeah, to me, it's mind boggling to see people falling for it.
