Wheel of Time MUD

why my Zmud disconnects and will not reconnect. It will do as if the MUD is down. Then, all of a sudden I try it and it brings it up. I have never had any issues for years. Today, I was not able to log in for like 9 hours but when I finally managed now, it says that the MUD has been up for 21hours. Any ideas guys?

Sounds like it might be a DNS issue on your end. Try connecting by ip (72.52.169.8).

edit: I'm assuming the 'remainder' of the internet works, and you can't connect to the mud only. Otherwise your ISP may be having issues. I frequently have to restart my modem because it kicks my router off the internet every few days.

edit2: See if connecting by ip fixes the problem though. If not it might prove a lot more difficult to troubleshoot and identify the issue from afar.

Thanks Daal. Yeah my internet was fine and I have never had any issues with my Zmud nor connecting (only when the MUD was really down). I will try connecting to the IP directly if I encounter this again.
