I know this idea concerns a completely non-priority issue but I wanted to say it, perhaps there would be more people interested in something like this and it may get on the list of things we might get one day.

As a rper and quest giver, I like to use various items to make the tasks or rp situations more colouful and fun. There are tons of nice choices for the "fetch" type of quests, with tiny story or searching element to it, that part is fine. But when it comes to other kinds of activities (class and similar kind of rp sessions, quests requiring the Accepted to do something or take something somewhere), I am limited to existing stuff or to the create phantom weave. However, phantoms don't last and it is not too rpish to remake them (for example while teaching about not channeling around potential ter'angreals last week). Of course one can pretend there are items(em takes the red eyed guinea pig from Annie) but that gets chaotic with several such objects and more than two or three people present .

Could we get a rp item retool, please? Something that would be absolutely useless for pk, therefore not a balance issue. For example retooling rocks (that would revert back by renting) to things like a small crystal dog, an acquarium, a statuette of a naked woman, an angry mouse etc.

Well. Masters should be able to retool rocks at any blacksmith.

I like your idea and it wouldn't be too farfetched to also allow council members and sitters limited ability to retool mundane items for this purpose.

Well, the thing is I am unlikely to ever master and am not a sitter most of the time. Lots of rping is being done by Aes Sedai rank 5 or 6 and by Tower lower ranks. I guess other rp clan members or individual rpers regardless the rank (or unclanned) may like to use this as well.

Masters already have lots of bonuses now, and truth be told, masters got their title usually by enjoying pk a lot, so I don't think they are the public that would use such a thing the most. Especially if they can already retool rocks at blacksmith as you say (I have to believe you, I don't have any Master).

In case you were curious. I did confirm masters can do exactly what you are asking for already.

Ah, because a rock is a projectile. Might be flirting with the retool rules, albeit an interesting rp use.

Might be best to clarify with immortals first if you plan on using that. Hopefully shouldn't be an issue, since no one uses dirty rocks anyway and does provide for interesting RP.

What about an issuable lump of clay that could be used to do it? Something you can only hold or pickup, or even an oilstone or sandstone?

When you say issueable, do you mean for QPs? It would be great if a mob, like the Crier, could issue them out. Something like

'I need a lump of clay shaped like a statuette of a stretching cat.'

The point is for everyone (or at least clanned people) to be able to do this, not to limit it to one Ajah. Plus, I can only retool books, so while I cannot make a statuette of a stretching cat, I can get you a book about statuettes of stretching cats. Not quite the same
