Weary Merchants and Clan Trinkets

Soooo... if I count October 28th as a day then today is 30 days since the change.
Weary Merchants that exchange clan trinkets for their equivalent item should be returned. It appears we have returned to the pre-change status quo of clan trinkets, except that the use of the weary merchant was not restored. Humans who capture darkside clan trinkets or clan trinkets from other human clans are essentially denied their use.
The Imms have honestly come a long way in trying to develop a more coherent strategy toward trinkets (my opinion - new loads, decreasing the distance between the top and the tier below, increasing the cost). That said, the current situation resembles our historic flawed past where the best access was to people who had no roleplay/or were on darkside and could wear whatever they wanted.
I write this as a person who doesn't actually believe clan trinkets should be issued in their current form. During the most recent change, some players complained that the result of the change was that looting opponents frequently meant there was much less to take. This problem has continued. Please let us return to exchanging equipment.
